Helping People Find Their Way Back To God
‘From one man he made every nation
of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times
set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that
men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not
far from each one of us.’ Acts 17:25-27
Regardless of who you are, where you’re from,
what you believe or which season of life you’re in, we welcome you to join our
community, explore, question and wrestle through the questions of life and God.
We
believe that throughout history, God has been working through his people to
bring the world back to himself, first through the Israelites, and now through
the church. We are called to reflect the heart of the God who loves the world by
being the kind of people who are doing something about the way things are. We
are on a mission to help people understand the love God has for them, and to
share with them the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ‘gospel’ is the good news of Jesus Christ coming to bring
renewal to the whole world. We believe that Christ’s work (not ours) on the
cross has reconciled our relationship with God and that He has created us to
join Him in bringing renewal to His world through living out the story of our
changed lives.
Genesis 1:26-27, Isaiah 49:5-7, Matthew
22:37-40, Luke 15:11-32, Colossians 3:1-17, Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Colossians
1:15-23, Ephesians 2:8-10
Jesus Christ changes people from the inside
out. His death and resurrection gives us a new identity, freeing us from
self-condemnation and self-righteousness. Christ has liberated us from the
bondage of things that once drove us and frees us to live the life He designed
for us – a life filled with grace, mercy, justice, love, forgiveness and joy.
It is the continual work of the Holy Spirit that lives within every believer
that brings the daily, personal transformation of our body, mind and soul, so
that our old life is left behind and our new life in Christ is found. Because of God’s grace, we are now free
of guilt and shame, free to love as Christ loved us, and to serve
unconditionally our world, regardless of who, what or where one comes from.
